Changes Over Time Since Title IX was passed, changes have been made to the law. Many feminists were angry when the Bush Administration weakened the law. They believed that the changes were taking away the opportunities given to the women. Others believed it was a good start to making Title IX more equal between men and women. Today, the Obama Administration is planning to strengthen the law.
